Lucca is 20 minutes from the house; Florence is an hour's drive. Pisa and its' airport, are within half an hour.

Lucca
Lucca is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. Well known for the majesty of its wall, that surround the whole area like a perfect ring, where centenarians trees blossom in extraordinary green.
Lucca is also one of the most important cities in Italy for its typical medieival architeture, that surround you while you walk through the narrow roads.
Lucca is a place easy to visit because it's a small city, but full of secrets and exciting experiences for all of kind of people who want to jump for one day in the past of our history.
It's 20 minutes car from my place.

Viareggio beach - Darsena
We have a really long beach cost that begins from Livorno and continues 'till Carrara; half of it is private, Darsena is the beginning of the free beach and the natural park, very close to my house. Here you can relax yourself in complete armony with nature, easy to get there with the car that you can park close to the beach
Massaciuccoli lake
Massaciuccoli lake is best known in the world for its Opera Theater, builded exactly over the surface of it and dedicated to the most famous opera conductor Giaocomo Puccini, who came here often hunting ducks.
Nowadays Massaciuccoli has become not just an attraction for opera singers but also an international park for birds.
It's forbidden hunting, fishing and shipping, the best thing you can do is wathching the beauty of this area comlpletely absorbed in the life of those incredible birds. There are a lot of walkways acrossing all the area. I suggest having a camera to catch the best shots.

Devil's Bridge
The devil's bridge is located at the entrance of the valley of Garfagnana, the mountains above Lucca: the most natural and preserved area of the region, where forest and frecher violent river are, the devil's bridge is the entrance of the natural kingdom of Garfagnana.
The bridge represent perfectly the idea of the mystery garden of Garfagnana, it has been built in the 12th century by an unknown architect, the way it's made is still today a remarkable miracle of ancient tradition of medieval time.
The name who suggest clearly the mystic nature of this unusual architecture is related to an incredible legend.
It's about 30 minutes by car from my house.


Alpi Apuane
Apuane Alps is the incredible chain of mountains in front of the Mediterranean Sea, where their shadow touches the sea.
Lucca's area has different kind of landscapes: olive trees hills, plain, sea ... but everything is protected in the cradle of the magnificent and giant chains of mountains Alpi Apuane.
This is the best place for those who love to climb, walk in the nature and you can go across the famous Carrara's quarries of marble.
Alpi Apuane is a natural park.
